We had to move our office as the old rental building was sold. We have purchased a FOREVER commercial property. It was a LONG re-zoning process but the rezoning was officially approved by Ocala City Council on July 16. We have more paperwork, licenses, etc to get for the property now before we can open. MASSAGE STUDIO opening: We hope to be able to start in-office massage therapy by Aug 26th. Schedulicity online scheduling is now available to book your massage sessions now.
YOGA STUDIO opening: Unfortunately, we are required to install a brand new asphalt parking lot before we can open the yoga studio portion of our business. That is VERY expensive so will delay just the yoga/sound bath portion of our business (red tape and ordinances - don't ask). We hope to have the Grand Opening Celebration and Yoga Studio Opening by mid-September. Stay tuned for more details and send your positive vibes our way.
Don't worry, though, we will be back and open. At least now we have a permanent location that we own and can serve our community continuously without interruption. HAPPY NEWS - I am hiring many more yoga teachers to expand our list of available yoga classes - now that we have two separate buildings.

Things have been changing a lot in the past few months. We have purchased a permanent commercial property where we will be moving forever (YAY!). Don't worry - it's very close to the current location. Our new permanent location is just 1 minute away on the SAME exact road we're on now (just opposite side of the road) so it will be very convenient for all existing clients.
The new location address is 1703 NE 8th Rd, Ocala, FL 34470. I will be changing the business name (slightly). The new business name will be METTA Wellness Center, LLC.
If you have a massage gift certificate, yoga or sound bath package with sessions left over, don't worry - I will extend the expiration date in Schedulicity for 5 months later due to the temporary closure dates.
In the meantime, however, I will be offering mobile massage (I come to your home and/or office) to do sessions. I will not be able to offer hot stone massage, of course. If you have been a client of mine in the past, I will offer mobile sessions. There will be an additional charge (on top of whatever session type you choose) to cover the additional travel time/gas, set up of equipment (15 minutes allowed) and tear down of equipment (15 minutes). If you live within 40 miles of the existing massage studio as determined by Google Maps (at 2206 NE 8th Rd, Ocala, FL 34470) then the mobile massage charge will be $50 per trip. If you have another person in your household or even a close friend who would like a session while I'm at your location, then there will only be one mobile fee per trip (not per person). These mobile sessions may NOT be booked online - you won't see any availability on any services online after May 3rd. To schedule a mobile massage session, you must contact me directly at (352) 299-5549 (can text) or at my email (deborahshahadey@gmail.com) with your name and type of service desired as well as time period you're looking for. I will contact you to confirm and book the session and confirm address.
